Julia Gomes collaborates ever year with the programming of numerous dance and theatre international festivals, as well as with SESC (Serviço Social do Comércio) and the French Consulate in São Paulo, Brazil, among others. In 2011, she was awarded with the title of "Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres" by the Ministry of Culture and Communication of France.
